Sun and fun and «Uristier»
Past weekend, the traditional Uristier-Regatta on Lake of Uri lived up to it's reputation: Heaps of sun, 27 degrees celsius and 25 kts of thermal breeze formed fantastic yacht racing conditions.
In the thick of it five Esse 850 battling for victory of the official Esse 850 IC Cup grade 3 event. After an impressively consistent performance, team «sail NORTH» with Daniel Schroff came out as the deserved winner in front of the SUI 125 with Urs Oldani in second and the SUI 155 with Jan Bachmann in third place. Bottom line: Lake of Uri once more proved to be one of the most attractive sailing regions in Switzerland.
