Lake Garda is calling! Next week the Gentlemen’s Class will be back in Malcesine once more for another classical, much loved edition of the annual Esse 850 European Open. More than 20 teams from Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria are expected to take part in this major event of the Esse 850 IC Cup 2016 in one of the world’s most famous sailing areas.

In 2015 the crown of Malcesine was taken away from team «Ottocinque» with Alain Marchand by team «Zebrabox» with Paul-Ambroise Sevestre. It was a turning point in the history of the Esse 850 IC Cup as team «Zebrabox» later also claimed victory in the overall year ranking for the first time ever. In 2016 both teams, amongst many other strong participants, will line up again to fight for the trophy of the European Open 2016, organized and held by Fraglia Vela Malcesine.
