We hope you are all excited and getting ready for an exhilarating new season. It’s time to plan it. Our events calendar is available on https://esse850.org/en/esse-850-ic-cup/the-agenda, and here:
The most important event to plan for is the Swiss Championship in Bächau 22-24 August! We need to be at least 12 Swiss boats to count it as a Swiss Championship and everything will be done to make this event a great one. So we count on all the lake Zurich boats to be there and on a few more from lake Leman and other lakes. If you need any help with the trailor or getting your boat on it, contact us and we will see how we can help.
Looking forward to seeing you on the water and wishing youa wonderful season kick-off.
The season is well underway with two races having taken place on Lake Zurich and Lake Geneva. Not too radical conditions with fairly light winds allowed competitors to sharpen their knives and jump back into the season without too much drama. See some photos of the action on our instagram account.

The «Esse 850 International Class» is the official class-unification of the Esse 850 One-Design yachts and was founded in January 2007 at Schloss Rapperswil. Its task is to enable international regattas, stimulate communication among the sailors of the Esse 850 and promote and coordinate all activities in Switzerland and internationally.
In 2010, the Swiss Esse 850 Class was accommodated to «Swiss Sailing» as a Member Class and has been authorized to perform official Swiss Championships. The class association currently counts 50 members who actively participate in regattas.
