Sunday morning was cold and brutally wet, but in return came with a nice breeze of around about 10 knots. One race could be sailed before the wind turned back down again. In the end, the SUI 158, team «Zebrabox» with Paul-Ambroise Sevestre, stayed at the top of the leader board, followed by the SUI 156 with Daniel Schroff in second and the GER 113 with Hans-Peter Martin in third place. Congratulations to the new Swiss Champion, team «Zebrabox», who at the same time claimed the victory in the Esse 850 IC Cup 2015 total ranking!
First of all, thank you all very much for crossing your fingers! Yes, the fleet was out sailing today and yes, the first four races could be completed. The breeze was light, tricky and made for some interesting results, also concerning the total ranking of the Esse 850 IC Cup.
Today's story of the Esse 850 Swiss Champs is told rather quickly. The fleet went out in the morning, came back for lunch and again went out in the afternoon, but once more could not sail a single race due to lack of wind. Please help us crossing fingers for better conditions tomorrow!
