Alpen Cup – Registration deadline on monday

It's about to become serious, the first regatta of the Esse 850 IC Cup 2015 is just around the corner. Several teams are already well prepared for the official start of season, the Alpen Cup at Lugano from 1st – 3rd of May. Many took part in one of various Esse 850-Trainings that were, for example, being held on the lakes of Garda, Zürich and Lugano.

Supposedly, quite a number of teams are therefore expected to be joining the today 12 teams entered. However, we do not want to draw a first balance before tomorrow's registration deadline.

At this stage, we'd like to point out our primary technical issue regarding the official entry form once again. In case you have enrolled your team already but still do not appear on the entry list on our website, please consider repeating enrollment.

About The Class

The «Esse 850 International Class» is the official class-unification of the Esse 850 One-Design yachts and was founded in January 2007 at Schloss Rapperswil. Its task is to enable international regattas, stimulate communication among the sailors of the Esse 850 and promote and coordinate all activities in Switzerland and internationally.

In 2010, the Swiss Esse 850 Class was accommodated to «Swiss Sailing» as a Member Class and has been authorized to perform official Swiss Championships. The class association currently counts 50 members who actively participate in regattas.
