No joke: On the 1st of April 2016, the Esse 850 International Class Cup already starts into its 10th season! The first of six events of the cup series 2016 takes place in Italy at the «Circolo della Vela ERIX» in lovely Lerici. The Mediterranean Cup will lead the Gentlemen’s Class back to the Mediterranean Sea for the first time since 2012.
Start to a new annual ranking
The new title match for the annual ranking of the Esse 850 can be awaited with great anticipation. One of many reasons is the fact that team «Ottocinque» with Alain Marchand will be longing for recapture of the title that was snatched away by team «SAS-Zebrabox» with Paul-Ambroise Sevestre last season. Moreover, many other experienced teams, such as the SUI 156 with Daniel Schroff or the GER 113 with Hans-Peter Martin, will be able to impact the race for the title the longer the more.
Info concerning the first event
The Mediterranean Cup will be held from 1. – 3. of April 2016 in Lerici together with the Longtze-Class. As usual, all necessary information concerning the event can be found on the Event Site. Entries close on the 18th of March 2016.
