As some kind of an early Christmas gift, we are glad to herewith announce the exciting event schedule of the Esse 850 IC Cup 2016. You can definitely look forward to crisp racing at six beautiful spots in Switzerland and Italy next year. Remarkably, the fleet of the Esse 850 will for instance also return to the Mediterranean coast for the first time since 2012. All dates and venues can be found here.

About The Class

The «Esse 850 International Class» is the official class-unification of the Esse 850 One-Design yachts and was founded in January 2007 at Schloss Rapperswil. Its task is to enable international regattas, stimulate communication among the sailors of the Esse 850 and promote and coordinate all activities in Switzerland and internationally.

In 2010, the Swiss Esse 850 Class was accommodated to «Swiss Sailing» as a Member Class and has been authorized to perform official Swiss Championships. The class association currently counts 50 members who actively participate in regattas.
