What a day! The race committee decided to go out at around 2 o'clock. Suddenly, pretty much out of the blue, a perfect southwestern breeze of 10-15 knots picked up only 10 minutes later. The breeze allowed the fleet to sail 4 beautiful races under absolutely stunning conditions.

And again, who would have guessed otherwise, the SUI 072 taught everyone else a good lesson. As at Lugano, Team «Zebrabox» with Polo Sevestre was very close behind, but still beaten. Alain Marchand and the «Ottocinque» showed off their skills with a series of 1-1-2-2 and are therefore deservedly at the top of the provisional leader board, followed by the SUI 158 with Polo Sevestre. A great performance was also delivered by the overall 3rd, Team «Martinesse» with Hans-Peter Martin, who managed to take the bullet in the last race of the day.

For tomorrow, the fleet will probably not be spoiled with the same champagne conditions. However, we'll hope for the best and let Petrus decide. It seems he's on our side anyway.
