The Lake Zurich fleet is preparing for the coming season. The first Esse 850 training took place on Lake Zurich from 13-14 April.
The partly harsh conditions could not lessen the motivation of the six participating teams and so they trained on Saturday until late afternoon with about 2-10 knots of wind. After the debriefing of the previous day, the teams went out into the snow/rain to implement what they had learned. Despite the bad weather again the teams trained for another four hours. The sailors seem to be hot for the first regattas. But we hope the newly learned snow sail skills will not be used this season.
